The 3rd Annual Big Lick Train Tug – Racin’ & Roddin’ Street Fest!

VMT’s annual Racin’ & Roddin’ event will now coincide with the Tug along Norfolk Ave!

The 3rd Annual Racin’ & Roddin’ event is a celebration of fast cars, mad driving skills, and bold personalities.

See classic and modern racing automobiles — from dragsters to NASCAR ™.

ENJOY  live music by Jared Stout Band a craft beer garden and amazing street vendors with food, crafts and artisans along Norfolk Ave as you cheer on Tug teams!

This massive collaborative event will be an amazing day of community and fun with PCC and VMT produced by Big Lick Entertainment!

The Presbyterian Community Centers “Big Lick Train Tug” returns in a big way!
Roanoke’s favorite Strength of Community Competition will be pulling the beautiful NORFOLK & WESTERN EMD SD-45 #1776 and the AEP Locomotive owned by the  National Railway Historical Society Roanoke Chapter (NRHS,) who’s engineers operated the engine.
