Description
The Silver Shadow is a luxury car that was produced in the United Kingdom by Rolls Royce from 1965-1980. It has the largest production of any Rolls Royce to date.
This model is different from the Silver Shadow I in that it has rack and pinion steering and better front suspension. It also features alloy and rubber bumpers, which were better at absorbing kinetic energy during a crash.
This car previously belonged to the actor Lorne Greene. Greene played Ben Cartwright on the television show Bonanza from 1959-1973. Greene’s widow moved to Bluefield, West Virginia, and the car was sold at auction after her death.
