The 1947 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood is largely unchanged from the 1946. Fleetwoods have a distinctive body not found in other General Motor divisions as well as a long wheelbase line typically characteristic of pre-WWII automobiles. There are two folding auxiliary or jump seats in the rear of the car, allowing for a total of seven passengers. A convenience option of a fender mounted radio antenna is also present.
The few minor revisions that have been made to the 1947 Series 75 are visible on the outside of the car. A new background for the distinctive V-shaped Cadillac hood emblem is present and the Cadillac name is featured in script low on the fenders behind the front wheel opening. Standard equipment includes stainless steel running boards, fender skirts, and large wheel disks.
This car went through a major restoration in the early 1990s.
