- Originally numbered 4919. Converted to 4917 when transferred to AMTRAK.
- A general renumbering of these locomotives in June 1973 gave it No. 4934, and it later was renumbered 4919.
- Ran almost 5.5 million miles before it was retired on February 1, 1981.
- The Museum's purchase of this locomotive from Amtrak was made possible by a gift from Lillian B. Keely in memory of her father, D. Allcott Kelly. The purchase was facilitated with the help of Timothy A. Kelly, son of Mrs. Kelly.
